I purchased this product and LOVE the look and feel. One day the lightning cable would not work on the iPhone. I tried the iPad and again not able to charge. I pulled up my purchase history and found out the warranty was 24 months! I had almost 12 months, so I emailed referencing my purchase. I received an email asking for screen shot of error, took it and replied. Next email was to confirm my mailing address to ship a replacement!! Couple days later package arrived and back the charging and syncing! Wonderful customer service, will buy more and recommend to all.....
I bought the Echo Dot to see if I would find the device useful and fun to use. I enjoy it so much that I bought the full size Echo for my home office and put the Echo Dot in the den where my whole family can use it. I enjoy asking Alexa to play certain songs or certain types of songs, she gives me a news update, and tells me the weather forecast as well as just about anything else I ask.
This is a MUST for every Amazon Echo user. Book is informative. Being a new user it gave me some good direction and pointers. It did not however answer a couple questions I still have such as can a recurring event or timer be set to turn a light on and off at a certain time everyday using smart home devices. I purchased book on Amazon plus and learning every day

I have such a problem, when my point starts, it stops playing music. I could solve it. I find a lot of useful instructions on how to use functions and skills.
