First I want to thank you for the work you do. For it is such a wonderful thing you do. Presenting the information that is out there for each of us to understand and comprehend. Like F. Scott Fitzgerald said, "... the test of a first-rate intelligence is the ability to hold two opposed ideas in the mind at the same time, and still retain the ability to function." Can we say Trend Following and (EMT) efficient market theory! Everyone has to challenge where they are with their own thoughts on the subject. Your books have been such a wealth of information. I own most of them, Trend following 4th and the new 5th edition is such a great book. I could not finish it, because when I sit down to read it is too late in the day and I pass out. So, I bought the audio book version since I'm in my car a lot. This way I will get it done. I have been reading 12 to 24 books a year since 2007. The only book that has challenged my thinking out side of yours has been Rich Dad Poor Dad. Keep up the good work and I will keep buying each new version or book you print.

No soft touch here. Direct and very good ideas laid out with directness. The author does not mince words. I think it is excellent advice.
Seems a little chatty Kathy informative but not to the point like I would like. I would like it more to the point without all the extra talk that is my opinion.
Cover offers an alternative to the usual dogma of investing. The book is an easy read and easy to follow. As an individual investor i found the theories interesting. For those of us who do not follow CNBC or Bloomberg on a daily basis, it shows a possible alternative to investing. The one thing the book does not do is get into specifics. There are no examples of how to realize a trend or what are the components to look for. Cover tells you of the other way but shows no road signs to follow the path.

I am a professional trader who made millions of dollars in the 2008 crash as bond prices went through the roof and interest rates went through the floor. How do I know if I follow them I will succeed? Michael Covel has spent years engaging with the best trading minds in the world to come up with a definitive set of trading rules, that aren't just good ideas, they are commandments that if followed religiously will yield unlimited reward. Trend Commandments conveys an easy to understand common sense approach to making money in markets, that you don't need PHD in behavioral finance to understand. If you are sick of buy and hope strategies promising the world but delivering little and you want to take control of your financial future, then this book is a great place to start. It's a must read for both amateur and professional traders alike. Trend Commandments is the trading bible.
